I was an athlete all through school. I started playing soccer at age 5 and never stopped. For those of you that don't know, soccer players are fit. We run A LOT! I had a high metabolism and was burning more calories than I could consume.
Fast forward to post-school. I continued to eat like an athlete, but I wasn't working out. No one told me I had to. My relationship with food became toxic. I was eating through my stress and exams. I was emotional eating. I gained 150 pounds through the next 4 years of my life. WHAT?!
I've now lost 130 pounds. I workout. I eat better than I used to. I'm a work in progress. What I'm saying is, you are not ALONE. You have the power to do ANYTHING you set your mind to. I know it seems impossible, but it isn't. You just have to have the right tools, mindset, and support.
